D.I.Y. Sunscreen Bucket
For this project you will need:
1 metal bucket
contact paper or transfer tape
Let's get started!
I first cut out 2 pieces of contact paper, one to the size of the sunshine and the other to the size of 'lotion up'.
Next I peel off the backing of the contact paper to explode the sticky side. On a flat surface I lay the sticky side onto my sunshine decal and repeat for 'lotion up'.
Once both pieces have the transfer paper on I line them up on my bucket (the white backing of the decal is STILL ON); make sure you have enough room under 'lotion up' for buttercup to fit.
Now that I know where I am placing those decals on the bucket I peel off the decal backing and place the contact paper/decal on the bucket.
To smooth out any bubble run a credit card or scraper over the contact paper. I wish I had taken a picture of me doing that but both hands were full (one on the scraper the other holding the bucket--guess it's time for a tripod!)
Repeat the above steps for all of the decals--sun, 'lotion up', and 'buttercup'. And....
Thank you for patience during my first d.i.y. blog! I hope you enjoyed this easy project. Please contact me if you have any questions.
